    Product Description
    Dell EMC Unity 600 is a mid-range storage array, available in two models: hybrid flash (Unity 600) and all-flash (Unity 600F). It is specifically designed to meet enterprises' demands for flexibility, economy and high performance. This series of products adopts a unified storage architecture, supports both block storage and file storage, and integrates data services such as snapshots, replication and encryption.
    The Unity 600 series is based on a 2U chassis design. The controller cabinet (Disk Processor Enclosure) can be configured with up to 25 2.5-inch hard disks or 15 3.5-inch hard disks, supporting mixed configuration (SSD and mechanical hard disks) or all-flash mode. Its hardware specifications include a dual-controller architecture, with each controller equipped with 2 Intel Xeon E5-2680 processors (12 cores, 2.5GHz), a total memory capacity of 256 GB, and support for FAST Cache expansion up to 6 TB. It has a maximum original storage capacity of up to 16PB and is suitable for a variety of workloads such as virtualization, databases, and file sharing. The all-flash model Unity 600F is similar in hardware design to the hybrid model, but is optimized for all-flash and uses a high-density 3D NAND TLC SSD to provide low latency and consistent performance.
    Unity 600F supports in-band compression and cloud tiering capabilities, which can reduce storage costs by up to 70%, and can be deeply integrated with ecosystems such as VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V and OpenStack.
