IBM Power S1022 is a 2U rack-mounted server in the IBM Power product service portfolio. The S1022 supports up to 40 Power10 processor cores and up to 4 TB of memory, and is specifically designed for running AIX, IBM i and Linux.
The number of cores in each system is increased by 1.5 times, which can concentrate the workload on fewer servers and improve system utilization. By adopting usage-based metering methods on different servers, cloud economic benefits can be obtained locally. Increase uptime, improve availability and reliability by using Active Memory Mirroring. Compared with IBM Power S922, the memory bandwidth has increased by 2.4 times. Each core uses four matrix operation accelerators, enabling faster AI inference at data points. Transparent memory encryption is used, requiring no additional management Settings and not affecting workload performance.
